Protective Sleeves for Postal History, Postcards and Banknotes

For the protection and safe storage of individual covers and pieces of postal history, the collector chooses from two basic approaches; Cover Protectors or Cover Sleeves.
Cover Protectors - Top Loading: from SAFE of Germany are crystal clear on both sides and are 100% free of plasticized PVC, stearates and softeners. Archival quality, constructed of sturdy crystal clear plastic film front and back; Heavyweight is 10 mil. Mediumweight is 5 mil.. Top loading for ease of loading covers without causing harm.

Cover Protectors - Side Loading: from Lindner of Germany are constructed of sturdy 10 mm crystal clear plastic film front and back, acid-free and also free of any harmful chemical softeners. Side loading cover protectors are preferred by many dealers for added security in the retail show environment, and stock is not so easily handled (and soiled, etc)

Protective Sleeves are an economical solution. These 2 mil crystal clear polyethylene sleeves allow for handling of the covers without causing smudges and fingerprints and are perfect for storage of less expensive covers..
