United Nations Personalized Sheets

The first personalized sheet issued by The United Nations Postal Administration is S1, Scott #534-37, with a title-inscription 'Greetings From The United Nations - New York'. Issued in November 2003 (Scott 853-57) the stamps were intended for visitors to the United Nations who could send mail home from their UN visit with their own photo on the label (thus personalized). The idea caught on and has become very popular with U.N. Collectors as the printing quantities have been limited to quantities of 1000-4500. Most of the Sheets are products of New York, but there are also personalized sheets from Geneva and Vienna. (Sheets are liste New York, then Geneva and then Vienna)
