    The Cathedral of the Air was a military aviation memorial chapel at Lakehurst, New Jersey, conceived by Rev. Gill Robb Wilson to honor military personnel, especially those who died in aviation service. A 1930 TIME magazine report describes the project and its memorial purpose.
