iHobb.com Shipping Rates and Policies
iHobb.com recognizes that a substantial portion of the Internet and Mail Order Purchase Price is the cost of freight. In our pursuit of the best bargains for collectors we endeavor to maintain pricing which reflects low freight costs and avoid unearned 'handling' charges.
Whenever appropriate the USPS is used and we use current issue stamps for postage.

Stamp orders are charged $6.00 regardless of size or wieght
Our shipping charges for coin and stamp supplies, catalogues, albums and other non-stamp items is a base charge of $6.00 plus a percentage shipping charge based on the weight of items chosen. Our shopping cart technology allows us to adjust rates in recongition of value-to-weight and charge only what is necessary to cover the cost of freight and insurance.
Shipments of non-stamp orders (albums, catalogs, stamp and coins supplies, etc) are shipped via UPS Ground. Orders sent to a Post Office Box Address are surcharged accordingly, per an option to be chosen at checkout. NOTE: Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam and APO Addresses are charged this surcharged amount as UPS Ground and Fed Ex Ground do not delivery ground service to these locations.

Stamp Orders to Canada are charged $12.00 regardless of size or weight. We ship small orders via Global Priority Mail, when available. Other orders are shipped by Air Mail Service. Some of our heavier stamp mixtures (kiloware) are not available for Interntational Shipping due to weight-to-value considerations making the shipping cost greater then the value of the stamps.
We do not ship NON-STAMP ORDERS to Canada or Mexico. Exceptions are made for existing stamp customers. All orders are shipped via U.S.P.S. Air Mail Service.

Beyond our usual stock, iHobb.com will special order items as requested. Estimated delivery times will be sent with confirmation of order. Special order shipping costs will be the same as for items in stock.
