White Ace Album Supplements plus LAWA Replacement Supplements
To fill the void left by the departure of The Washington Press a new page source has stepped up. LAWA (Life After White Ace) is now producing supplements using the format established by White Ace, on a quality paper stock and using the same page size so as to accommodate the 3-ring binders as used for the original White Ace pages.
A second option for continuing your collection is to change over to the Minkus Pages for U.S., Israel, Vatican and Canada collections. The reason is due to the size of the page. White Ace and Minkus have been the only stamp albums using 8-1/2x11 pages and a standard 3-Ring Binder.
The Minkus Pages are a quality album page and include the Scott Catalog Numbering System, which is a big plus. However, the paper stock is not as heavy as we are accustomed to with White Ace and the colorful graphics are replaced with black on beige pages. A plus for White Ace Album collectors, both LAWA and Minkus continue the practice of offering separate albums for Regular Issues and Commemoratives. (LAWA also separates the U.S. Plate Blocks between Commemoratives and Regular Issues)
